iPhone in Western Europe have been left out of India share eroded by Android

Apple's iPhone in the global markets are highly favored, but in Western Europe and India, the two smart phones on the market, not the popularity of Apple's iPhone and Android smartphones. According to market research firm IDC provides a new report said that in the first quarter of this year, Western European smartphone market, Apple's market share continued to decline, from 25 percent last year to 20%, a decrease of 5 percentage points; while to Samsung on behalf of the Android mobile phone system share from last year's 55% increase to 69%, an increase of 14 percentage points. IDC report shows that in the first quarter of this year, Western European smartphone market, Google Android system mobile phone shipments reached 21.9 million units, and its market share from 55% in last year's first quarter increased to 69%. Including Samsung smartphone market in Western Europe during the quarter shipments of 14.3 million, compared to 10.9 million last year, an increase of 31%. But Apple's iPhone, a quarter of the market, shipments of 6.2 million units, a year earlier to 7,000,000 units, down 11%.
IDC said that overall, the economy is experiencing a downturn in Western Europe, "With the worsening economic situation, consumers' disposable income has declined, most Western European countries experienced a decline in sales of smart phones." The report shows that in the first quarter, the smart phone market in India, the top five shipments of smart phones manufacturers failed to see Apple's name. The report said that in the Indian smart phone market, Android smartphone share far more than Apple iPhone, Android phone market share up to 90%.
